Note for customisation: this policy is written to be generally sound for a small Indian software company, but it is a starting template. Before publishing app updates on Google Play, review each section against the actual data your specific app (School ERP or loan-management product) collects, and update the bracketed or general statements to match precisely. Consider having a lawyer review the final version before it governs a live financial or student-data product.
This Privacy Policy is issued by Frontier Stride ("Frontier Stride", "we", "us", "our"), a sole proprietorship based in Gudivada, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India. It applies to this website (frontierstride.com), and to the applications we develop and publish, including our School ERP software and our loan-management software (together, the "Services").
The information we collect depends on which Service you use.
For the School ERP and loan-management tools, the primary data controller is typically the institution (the school or the lending entity) that licenses and configures the software — not Frontier Stride directly. Students, parents, and loan applicants generally interact with that institution, and the institution is responsible for obtaining any consents required from the individuals whose data it enters into the Services. Frontier Stride processes this data to provide the software to that institution.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use student data or loan-applicant data collected through our Services for advertising purposes.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information handled by our Services against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Given the sensitivity of school records and financial records, access within our applications is intended to be limited to authorised users of the licensing institution, based on the roles that institution configures. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services to the licensing institution, and thereafter for as long as required to meet legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations — which may be longer for financial records subject to lending-related recordkeeping requirements. An institution may request deletion of its data subject to any retention obligations that apply to it.
We do not share personal data with third parties except:
Our School ERP product is used by schools to manage student records, which may include data relating to children. This data is entered and controlled by the school, not collected by us directly from children. We rely on the school, as the data controller, to have the appropriate basis and parental notice for entering student information into the system. We do not knowingly use children's data for any purpose other than providing the School ERP functionality the school has configured.
Depending on applicable law and your relationship to the Services (for example, as a parent, student, loan applicant, or website visitor), you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Because much of the data in our School ERP and loan-management tools is entered and controlled by the licensing institution, we recommend directing such requests to that institution in the first instance; we will support the institution in responding where required. You can also contact us directly at the email below.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, to the extent applicable.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do. Material changes affecting how student or loan-applicant data is handled will be communicated to licensing institutions directly.
